It's not easy to keep dance in our lives while maintaining a full-time non-dance career.
Whether you are a student, a professional, or anywhere in between, you'll feel pressured to put your artistic passions on hold as you focus on building your career.
Some of us grow up in the studio, spending hours working on just one aspect of our art. We sacrifice our precious sleep or social time, knowing that we are working toward those few minutes of perfection in our next performance or competition. Many of us endure life-altering injuries for the love of our craft.
And yet, somewhere along the line, we let these passions fall by the wayside. The little dancer inside us gets buried under piles of perceived obligations and misplaced priorities.
It's my belief that with the right state of mind, a solid group of supporters, and a few time management strategies, you can keep dancing without sacrificing your career goals.
This is a resource for those of us who need to keep art in our lives.
